Leonie Khoury holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the former New South Wales Conservatorium of Music in Sydney. Her teachers were; Michael Scott, Margaret Crawford and Jane Rutter. She studied in Paris with various illustrious performers – Raymond Guiot, Alain Marion and Bernard Chapron – and came back to Australia to pursue her music teaching career in universities and schools (Australian Institute of Music, Sydney Conservatorium High School, Wollongong University and The University of New South Wales.)
The orchestras that she has played in are the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, The Australia Ensemble, and many various ensemble groups in Sydney and Melbourne and she has performed as soloist in numerous flute recitals in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne with Stella Svetec, pianist.
She now runs her own music school, offering lessons for beginners to advanced level students. Her qualified and professional teaching staff reflect her own standards in teaching, aiming for the best results, thoroughly training students in technique and performance and achieving the highest results for their students.
